weather wasnt good, &crap things happened at the start of the day; was supposed to play badminton with weiyu,Gin,max,zhiwei and his bro @gombak stadium but i didnt expect the courts to be fully booked then thanks to Gin, we managed to get two courts in HongKah CC. But erm the nets they provided were crappy so me,zhiwei and his bro bought two from a nearby bookstore.

Badminton was really fun. Gin's getting addicted to it heh(it's a gd thing). weiyu's good, bong's erm not as gd as he boasted to be wahhahah. everybody had fun. lunch was @ mac then 2nd round @ the nearby kopitiam. Gin was running all over trying to catch the shuttercock hwahahah, and Max was exhausted way earlier than us, hey mann need to exercise more laa.

laterz they(zhiwei,max,Gin) came over to my house cos i gotta help Gin do up her blog template and stuff in pics. so in the evening i had 2laptops and 1desktop in my rooM! (hmm we could really start a LAN party over 'ere).
Max drove, so dinner was at this 2nd level ultra huge hawker center after beauty world. wow I tasted and recommend the satay beehoon(which usually has a queue). If u like plain white carrotcake which is not chaotah then must try the 1 (with the U channel recommendation article displayed).
Last but not least, Max drove us along and picked up weiyu along the way to this cool coffeeplace called "Gone fishing" which is in the suburbs of hillview, really ulu. I dont really remember wat the rest ordered but I had the old tawny Shiraz, ohhh it was really gd. thick bodily sweet red wine...
Played a lil' of Jenga and the rest of the time was spent on this mind boggling game of "Mind Trap". e.g. picked up a card and read to everyone the question written on the card. when everyone attempts a guess,turn the card to check the answer behind. Here's one: what is the thing u use to see thru a wall?(imo, this is still rather simple).

Was after midnite already, went over to weiyu's house which was 1 street away or so, and got him started on Maple story the MMORPG, while he recommended me some gundam seed vids and lent me the vids as well. then weiyu drove me home heh finally got so see him drive.
As for today, it's christmas dinner @home with my family, yupps.
was out the whole day yesterday. super tired. lemme c wat happened yday. recap:
24th dec04- firstly overslept in the morning already arg, then was glad to hav met Sheena for the first time, kbox session wif Sheena,Gin and Zhiwei. hmm even thou my first time @kbox but definitely not the first time i sang wif mic (more often at home). the K-lunch at kbox was horrible, both the mic got problem (had an impression that lot1 kbox cannot make it). So nex time will try the ones at good'o clementi and JE.
ok so kbox session ended @3 but had'ta meet yeechee and gang (yeechee, shunrong, david,seeto) over at PS 3.30 but erm there was no way for me and zhiwei to get to PS from cck in 30mins, haha ended up we reached there @ 4. woops. then they decided to play pool&watch movie(kungfu hustler) instead of bowling. it didnt take long for us to discover that PS cinema tickets sold out. went over to paradiz/parklane to find long queues for pool/snooker tables. i suggested arcade but they didnt want to play so we walked from parklane to cineleisure arg! by then already super pissed off. finally@ 6pm bought tix for the 2.15am movie. seeto and zhiwei didnt wana watch the movie.

For dinner at cineleisure basement1, i tried this vietnamese stall (BBQ pork+rice$4 & green papaya salad$2.80), and wow the BBQ pork tasted like really thick bahgua. yumyum. green papaya salad tasted very fun, got this slight sour taste that blended well wif the mint leaf and crunchy shreded greenpapaya. after dinner was browing&listening to cds @hmv followed by hanging out@ Paragon coffeebean. and on the way back to cineleisure there were these crazy pips who kept spraying this foamy thingy which was so irritating. then alot of pple's hair and clothes kana the foam. i tot i was able to siamz these pips spraying stuff but while crossing the road, got this gal came up from behind and sprayed foam on mah neck ARG! david suffered the same fate as me. while shunrong,yeechee and zhiwei managed to escape unscathed. zhiwei left just before we started playing pool.

back at cineleisure level8 we had pool session, surprisingly shunrong's pool skills improved tremendously! we(me,david and yeechee) were totally shocked.
Kungfu hustle's special effect was really good althou the poor storyline. really funny too.
after the movie everyone was dead beat, thus shared a cab home half asleep hehe.

ok so it's christmas outing wif Joyce heh.
lunch was @ paradiz foodcourt, the noodles stall was average, Joyce said the malay stall food was really horrible. hmm today's pool was great. She's really gd at pool lor, so accurate even thou no much power involved. i think overall i lost but it was really fun laa. after that was chilling out@ TCC(the coffee connoseiur), omg this cafe rocks. great selection of coffee and superb ambience for a similar price to coffeebean and starbucks. i really highly recommend TCC@ paradiz

Joyce ordered this mocha villa which tasted really chocolatey wif a touch of cinnamon and mine was something hazelnut, cant remember already heh. anyway my hazelnut coffee got this cornflake that went really well wif the cream on top and the coffee below, blended well yea. we were @ this white sofa sipping away @ the refreshing coffee and chatting away... heh wat a way to relak.
dinner was wif Gin&Max&weiyu @ Bbatok kopitiam, wahsei the herbal soup stall sells gd stuff @ low prices yea. pls try it. esp the herbal chicken+rice.

finally the damn sch project is over. err even thou the micromouse didnt function properly, we tried our best to make it a good presentation; IMO it's better than average lar. we did make effort to explain that excessive time was taken to test certain stuff that mysteriously went wrong.

lunch was @ Billy bombers wif da sch project group members, lotsa chat and stuff yea. got a gd mix of races too, sg-chinese, china-chinese and vietnamese yea. cool. had this great set meal for 19++ inclusive of soup, choice of main course, desert+huge glass of drink.
After lunch went the jp arcade to spend sometime before heading to far east to meet Gin. she wanna buy a proper top for an upcoming event. yeps meanwhile waiting for ZW to arrive. we Met zhiwei @taka for sometime before the real thing starts.

Dinner was awesome @ Adam's food center yeps, had this stingray+rice for dinner costing only $6. superb taste and damn fleshy stingray.

ok today's badminton session was fun wif 3 other frens(hanjin, zhiwei,dennis), thou many others didnt turn up due to some reasons. finally seen the fruit of our labour paid off when we had all four badminton courts to ourselves from 4.30-6pm heh.... beat that; i had to gather 8 friends to do that.

yea learnt lotsa stuff from hanjin's comments and from playing.
1) grip nearer the bottom of the handle for more powerful long shots, however it affects smacks and scoops.
2) learnt that service must always be towards the court that is diagonally opposite
3) need to play more to get the right sensitivity so that i can control the shuttercock to go center/left/right without it flying out of play area.
dinner @ NTU's canteen 2, yumyum today tried the lotus soup from the herbal soup&rice stall. exchanged views about freelancing and career stuff wif them3.
gonna be arranging more programmes for myself for the rest of the days in the week; planning for christmas outing and stuff.
it's jus very disappointing that the rest from the lunch group was unable to turn up to play badminton even thou effort was made to book the four courts. but heh there's always nex time, i'm cool with it.... so nex time...

It was cool, bugis shopping (parco and bugis), but it seemed not as gd as orchard area yea.
Saturday was also a first time hanging out wif Joyce, yeps.
loads of chat, walking, shoppin'. yea and raining.... suxx mann, why does it havta rain on a gd hangout day like tat. anyways Joyce was really superb to hang out wif yea.

Sunday(today): bad, Gin's down wif fever and other illness comboed, ouch! so me and Tim gotta call off the lunch meeting. arg! havent seen G for this week.
holidays filled with project(DDP) is really a tragedy wif pple all over blaming their lifeless holiday on the DDP. hey that's really lame, if they really wanted to hang out or do stuff, they can always do it after DDP rite, i mean DDP is jus from 8.30-5pm so yea.... evening cannot hang out? NOoo, i think it's jus that some pple got no life and they wana blame holiday projects...
tried this new magnolia milk this weekend... hmm not bad
