long time didnt meet tim already, so lunch wif gin and tim @ yoshinoya TAKA. tim wanted to get new clothes for CNY. and great things happened to tim today wif the help of Ginny haha. hey tim..."a great start to a new friendship".
actually tim saw this gd lookin' shirt @ TOPMAN but erm price is off. so i suggested heeren shops and 77street. hmm after browsing somemore shops tim decided on another shirt while we were @ heeren. gin walked by an accessories shop and soon emerged with a new purchase!!! tim then reminded us that he also want new jeans but giordano sucked so we went to levis.
OH NO! the moment we stepped into Levis, Ginny was all over the shop browsing. omg, and as u all can guess, she bought a new pair of jeans...tim however, didnt buy any jeans cos it was way off his budget... gotta wait till payday yea.
I'm proud to announce that i spent the least today. bought a lil' something and + lunch only a little over $10.. heh who said i cannot spend less when i go out.
slept until afternoon. gin wanted to watch movie but the times were not gd cos she knock off @ 6+, so zhiwei,me&gin decided to do dinner instead. I missed the food @ far east so we went to dine there. 5th floor if i'm not wrong. the zicha stall, cheap & good. so tonight i tried the claypot hokkien mee+prawns. (generous servings of prawns) @ only $4.50
after that was off to walkwalk wif gin & zhiwei. hmm then stopped over at Spinelli HMV to chill until it was time to go home. yea even thou we meet up quite often, there were still many bits to talk about.

woops fell asleep on friday again so blogging today when i wokeup. nex time if anyone sees me on msn overnight means that I fell asleep + forgot to signout MSN. ginny's singing improved! sheena was pretty distracted by certain coincidental events that happened at kbox.. much of the time i was singing cos sheena was "busy". gin asked me to go dinner @ al azhar but i was tired out by the sch things liao so headed home after a quick dinner later got dinner wif gin and zhiwei! meanwhile i'll be exploring some software to remove the main singer's voice from songs; so i can karaoke at home. :) as gin mentioned in her blog: kbox-ing so frequently is expensive. went home to discover that dear sis bought my bday present already and gave it to me early! thanks
so friday first half of the day was spent in sch. then evening and nite was @ clementi kbox...(haha AGAIN!) and of coz wif sheena and ginny cos zhiwei didnt wana go.

we all went home. sis had planned a farewell dinner 4herself since last week. so after I reached home not long then gotta go out for dinner wif our dear 2 cousins, their mum, my mum and my sis! everything was according to sis's plan. dinner @ paragon ding tai feng. wah the noodles there portion so much lesser than the lamian @crystal jade yday.xiao long bao and the shrimp shumai was incredible. desert @haagen daaz near Ck tangs. wooh the fondue is powerful everyone loved it. yes more jokes and chat and all of us were so happy;long time didnt get together already. by right we were all supposed to go home after desert as planned but somehow duno y my sis jio me&cousin zhi to go ktv. hmm of coz i couldnt turn down e temptation. anyway it was e first time i went ktv wif cousin zhi and sis. kbox @ cineleisure was the nearest we could find. luckily i got membership so wasnt so ex and the $ we saved could be used on cab. but the ktv system @cineleisure kbox was really crap= as crap as lot1. but we all managed to enjoy ourselves anyway. yeps so i gonna go slp liaoz... tomoro still got sch... *ROAR! ><" *
lunch was wif tim and gin,max @ marina square cos we're all sick of orchard. yea scouted around for "action city" and "nikko" shops. tim bought his beloved "nismo R34 diecast" @ suntec. then off to heeren shops to get gin's stuffz. on e way she bought me this "wrights soap" @guardian which is supposed to help my complexion. Thanks Gin! well didnt stayed long @ hereen but never forget the fragrant old chang kee sotong! yes and gin couldnt resist the temptation watching me enjoy so she got a stick4 herself too!

Saturday:
then was paradiz pool and snack. by then weijie was zonked out and hadto go home soon. then went to carrefour @ PS to walkwalk while waiting for ginny to finish her Indian session wif frens @suntec. i bought another jay zhou dvd once again trying my luck to c if i can get karaoke versions of his songs but when i went home...i found out that i kana cheated AGAIN...zz. dinner was @ suntec crystal jade la mian xiao long bao.... pork ribs lamian + hong2 you2 chao1 shou3. me and zhiwei had a hard time trying to stuff everything down, really filling dinner. then took the same mrt home wif ginny
our first outing with weijie, supposed to be me, zhiwei, weijie and ashley but ash was sick so unable to make it. nevertheless the 3 of us managed a great time but weijie was too tired due to her previous day activity.
clementi kbox again but i really like that place laa, everything so new. so during ktv session, realised that somebody is stephanie no.3 and zhiwei is very suitable4 "michael learns to rock" songs. then was off to clementi market hawker for a makeshift lunch and yumyum mackerel otah!
ok the starting half of the day was crappy, cos i didnt know SA2 classes for sc111 were on even weeks and not odd weeks and i kept thinking that I'm S11 class so should be odd week(which is this week), and the damn lesson was from 3.30-5.30 and lecture ended at 11.30, so after lunch @ about 12.30 i waited another 3hrs for wat i tot would be my sc111 class. then i went there and ask the other guys, they said SA2 was LAST WEEK!!!
anyways, i flew outta sch and was home by 4.30... during the waiting time fr 12.30-3.30pm already planned a ktv session wif sheena "the sun yanzi no.2" yes. powerful voice she got. anyway i brought forward e plan to go clementi kbox which was within walking distance from my flat. AND guess wat? i got a kbox membership so nex time all'of u(my frens) who wana go can ask me then we get discounts K? as sheena said, the system was new, mic was good and the manager is very friendly. but really student member price is very very cheap. click here to c the rates aircon was very cold so nex time i'll remember to bring a sweater heh. yes it was a very enjoyable session, well u may call it a practice session/marathon.
badminton was great, today i did fewer smacks and more far shots to make 'em run. trying to get more accurate by aiming the further corners of opponent courts. zhiwei was smacking more today. yeechee made tremendous improvement under hanjin's teaching. learnt new stuff from hanjin as usual heh, lookin' forward to nex wednesday. same guys but definitely not same skills;improvement expected.
after badminton rushed home, bathed then flew to simlim in cab. bought the SMC WLAN router, logitech webcam, external hdd, ext hdd case, canon scanner. the canon printer that sis wanted to buy was sold out ler. zzz.
and right now sis is yelling at me over wah how to connect this printer, that webcam, scanner? blah blah, how come this like that...blah. yea that's a true blue mac user alrite, duno no shit about her mac powerbook....
sunday,yesterday and today, i've been spending 'em mostly at home, catching up on sleep and self-awareness. havent been taking pictures(as u can c from my blogs) cos the damn sch work and matters keep bugging me; namely labs and lab partner matters.
Gin's pretty disheartened over certain things. seems like too overwhelming for her. couldnt find anybody to stay wif me @ hostel. anyway if i were to get a hostel it'd be jus to sleep. cos there's no fantastic speaker system, no superb desktop, no mic, no tv, no snacks, no family. it's not unusual for me to be up@ this hour of the day doing wat pple usually do in daytime;e.g. filing my tuts and punching holes, admin stuff. btw met hanwen today at canteen A activities area where few stalls are set up for eca recruitment, he was dressed up as elvis !! wahhaha super obiang. impresario is up to semi finals already! saturday's been planned, so is tomoro(or rather later):badminton day(weekly), booked the badminton court for nex wednesday already. i'm sure later go wif sis buy the WLAN router/webcam/ext hdd/printer/scanner will be quite interesting....
Today was @marina square but found nothing. then moved on to esplanade. wow got lotsa stuff to do here. hiphop bunch @ walkway to esplanade, couples at the rooftop, and rollerbladers at the open air on ground floor near Al dante.
scenery was good at the rooftop. then dinner at this spanish restaurant (VIA MAR), oh it's great dining experience. i ordered lobster something and house pour (which was chillian red wine). at after midnite, went clubbing with sis and Jas @ zouk/phuture. lotsa angmor as usual. didnt club for a long time so felt pretty good. after clubbing was supper @fong seng prata shop where sis and Jas caught their breath, then we went home all happily enjoyed.

had an agonising week of sch work to catch up with. friday was spend mostly beinging Jasmine(Ginny's aussy course/project mate) around sg. yeps, brought her to clementi for rojak on thursday nite(right after she touched down in e afternoon). On friday, Jonathan met up with Jasmine to bring her for breakfast at JP then to NTU. I met 'em at canteen A(NTU), then I started touring them around my faculty; crashed lecture for a while, visited the tutorial rooms (Jas said it was very cram), and covered the labs briefly.
Next was Jonathan, he brought us to see NIE lecture theatres which seems so small compared to NTU lecture theatres. Their tut rooms are larger than ours(Ntu's). and there's lotsa space to study @ NIE library. Jas managed to get her long awaited Singapore postcards @ the NIE library. After that Jas was off to meet my sis, who brought her to holland V, then simlim, walk everywhere.Then miraculously we were able to all meet up @ CAN cafe at 11+. hung around there until 2 and the kind driver Max drove me and sis home, then Ginny and Jas.Interestingly, I happen to bum into Michelle while walking to CAN cafe wif Max&Gin. She was also in awe. we were like thinkin': "wow it's so coincidental to c each other there!". surprisingly, Mich and her frens just came out of CAN cafe after a chat session and me,gin&max goin' ther to meet sis and Jas. WOOT! sg is really small yea. the fun ended prematurely. sis was zonked out cos she was walking wif Jas since afternoon. Gin's got work tomoro so we had'ta leave so soon.... zzzz
first day of 2nd week in sch. stress and workload all coming up. first lab session in sc207, haha great experience.
then later off to JP to meet chenjie + dinner. tired out so went home soon after dinner. we walked the toys'r'us. it sucked. very less variety and they claim to be sg's biggest toy store... so many things to do, havent even printed out my timetable...:)
the usual sunday lunch wif tim and gin. but this time we ate at forum cos gin needs to get something from Toys'r'us. was really disappointed at their selection main headquarters for Toys'r'us and the selection so limited!
the nex crazy thing was we dug out the provided batteries and powered up the car at a secluded corner near the shop. I raced tim a few rounds while ginny watched. things were pretty much "on the spot" today.1.jpg)

I havent meet tim for very long liaoz. lotsa stuff to talk about. we were all rattling away about cars while ginny did her usual shopping as we tagged along. And we did this crazy thing. cos i've been wanting to buy a proper remote control(RC) car for a long time. Was just looking for someone to play it with; such that he and i will buy a RC car each then we can take out the car to race self-made obstacle courses. So me and tim searched a few toy/hobby shops until we arrived at this NIKKO shop @ wisma top levels. both of us bought a RC car each. we bought the box set that enabled us to change motor and wheels(rims). awesome!
sheena's turning 21, got her a present already, hope she like it.
Weiyu and I finally can witness hanwen's new image with our bare eyes. it was a great change. golden jappy hair cut with sunshades. I guess he was pretty much satisfied with the new makeover. since zhiwei lived so near, we got him out, hanwen went back to helpout in the event soonafter. weiyu,zhiwei& i kana ripped off @ k-pool JE, cos duno y it's $9.80 per hour when it is 4+ on a saturday afternoon! then off to meet Max and Gin to goto the event of the day! sheena's bday. had problems finding her house cos Max wasnt familiar with that area. anyways, there was a big crowd at sheena's. food was good. yea can u believe it? sheena's gd galfriends smacked cake on her after e bday song. and 3 of 'em chased each other around with cake in their hands.
weiyu suddenly called and arrranged lunch wif me and hanwen @ IMM, cos hanwen is involved in his CCA event held at IMM it's called Impresario 2005(which is basically NTU talenttime).
school started 2days ago, i havent been able to adjust to the school lifestyle and wakeup timings. so hmm pretty much didnt even goto sch for yesterday and today. sis is flying to aussy soon, she's gonna miss my bday! haha must remind abit.
As usual first week got nothing, just intro lectures and stuff. Seeing everyone back in school seems more interesting, some of 'em i didnt even get to meet during the whole "1.5week" real holiday. ok let's give it more time, maybe tomoro i'll wakeup on time and get to sch.
well there was nothing much going on for the morning and afternoon of new years eve, jus that when i woke up, fiddling around wif my comp then suddenly the dvdwriter spoilt. omg, i rushed to simlim square to buy a new dvdwriter(TDK) which was erg only $139 compared to the $365 i paid for my previous dvdwriter(TEAC) i bought 1.5yrs ago! then hurried home to put down my stuff then off to meet Zhiwei and Jonathan @ redhill mrt then to Tiong bahru to meet Ginny and Max.
after dinner was off to find a pub @ tanjong pagar which a friend of Ginny recommended. the idea was to countdown anywhere except in city area cos it'll be too crowded. so Max drove us round and round cos none of us were familiar with the roads around that area. when we found it (pub zodiac) we realised that the music there was 70s chinese oldies and the crowd was really old. so we buzz off to maxwell food center to get a drink then off to search for another cosy pub to chill out. while walkin' back to Max's car, we passed by this "friendz" pub which was in chinatown, wow it was really cosy, no dancin'. just great party music and people chilling out on couches and smoking or drinking. some playing pool. for me it was ok chatting there, cos the rest of 'em didnt like to go chiong places. so we chat until really late like 3am then we left for fong seng prata session! when we arrived at fong seng, we had to stand around for quite a while cos it was jam packed! nu expected really. cos most of the pple are supposed to be partying in city. not at such ulu places like fong seng somemore 3+am. prata session until 4am, damn it was raining then. we were all drenched. Max the goody driver drove all of us home heh.
every restaurant was packed with pple arg. but fortunately we were able to find this "Grills" restaurant which served pasta. it was not bad. Pang's cabonara was really filling so i was able to hav some of his share. i had this italian sausage which had really small portions(pls dont order this)...
